Apple Custard

Materials

5 medium apples

2 tablespoons of molasses

25 g butter

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1 glass of sugar

4 glasses of milk

1 egg 2 tablespoons of flour

1 packet of vanilla

200 g cream

DIRECTIONS

◗ Peel and core the apples and slice them.
◗ Cook the sliced pieces lightly in butter.
◗ Add molasses and caramelize. Add cinnamon and let cool.
◗ Whisk the milk, sugar, flour and egg in a saucepan and cook on low heat, stirring until it reaches the consistency of custard.
◗ Add vanilla before removing from heat and leave to cool.
◗ Add cream to the cooled pudding.
◗ Take the cooled apple slices into a mold and spread the pudding on it.
◗ Let it rest in the refrigerator for an hour, then serve.
