Materials

1 kg lamb cubed

2 onions - diced

1 tablespoon of tomato paste

3 tablespoons of butter

4 cups of hot water

1 cup of baldo rice

1 cup bulgur wheat

1 tablespoon of dried mint

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon of black pepper

DIRECTIONS

Melt the butter in a saucepan and sauté the lamb cubes over a medium heat for around 10 minutes.

Add the sliced onions and tomato paste and stir. Add two cups of boiling water and salt and cook until the water is absorbed and the meat is tender.

 Add the washed rice, bulgur, water and spices to the meat. Cook over a medium heat until the water is absorbed.

Take the pot and turn out the contents onto a large serving platter with the meat on top. Serve hot.
