Meatballs With Tomato

Materials

For Meatballs

800 g minced lamb leg

1 egg

1 clove of garlic – minced

2 slices of bread

½ teaspoon of milk

½ teaspoon of baking soda

½ teaspoon of black pepper

1 teaspoon salt

2 tablespoons sunflower oil - for frying

For sauce

3 tomatoes – peeled and medium diced

2 bell peppers – chopped in half rings

2 cloves of garlic – minced

2 tablespoons of vegetable oil

1 teaspoon of sugar

1 teaspoon salt

DIRECTIONS

Pre-soak the bread crumbs in milk, knead well with the ground meat and the other ingredients. Allow to rest in the refrigerator.

Divide the mixture into 50 g portions.

Fry the meatballs in sunflower oil.

For the sauce:

Put 2 tbsp. of vegetable oil into a separate pan.

Add the tomatoes, peppers and garlic. Cook until the tomatoes soften.

Add sugar and salt. Serve the fried meatballs hot with the sauce.
