Materials
15 dried figs
2 cups of water
1 cup finely crushed walnuts
1/2 cup yogurt
1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
3 eggs
2 cups flour
1 dessert spoon baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 dessert spoon salt
1 dessert spoon cinnamon
1 tsp. ground cloves
1 packet of vanilla
DIRECTIONS
Dice the figs.
Combine one cup of yogurt and figs.
Add the sugar to room-temperature butter. Whisk until the sugar dissolves.
Continue whisking, adding the eggs one at a time.
Sift the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and cloves and add to the yogurt mixture; add the crushed walnuts and vanilla, mix well.
Grease a tray or cake tin and pour in the prepared mixture.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180oC/350oF for 30 minutes. Serve warm.
