Materials
4 phyllo sheets
500 g regular mutton – finely diced
1 cup water
100 g butter
1 dessert spoon salt
1 tsp. chilli flakes
DIRECTIONS
Sauté the meat over a high heat for 10 minutes until it turns golden.
Add one cup of water and cook the meat until its juices are absorbed.
Season the cooked meat with salt and chilli flakes.
Grease a pastry tray and lay two phyllo sheets on top each other, greasing each layer with butter.
Place the meat on the phyllo sheet.
Grease the remaining two phyllo sheets in the same way and place them on the filling to cover it.
Bake in the oven at 180oC/350oF until the top turns golden.
Cut into squares and serve with yogurt on the side, if desired.
