Pekmez (Grape Molasses) Cookies

Materials

1 cup vegetable oil

2 cups sugar

1/2 cup grape molasses

1/2 cup yogurt

2 eggs

4 cups flour

1 tsp. baking soda

1 tsp. salt

1 dessert spoon cinnamon

About

Mix the molasses with the sugar. Add the eggs and whisk.

Add the yogurt and whisk once again.

In a separate bowl, sift the flour, baking soda and salt, add to the molasses mixture and knead.

Keep the prepared dough in the refrigerator for around 1 hour.

Spoon the prepared dough onto greaseproof paper on a baking tray using a dessert spoon, with 2 cm gaps between each.

Bake in a preheated oven at 220oC/430oF for around 10–12 minutes.

Keep the dough you prepared in the refrigerator for an average of 1 hour.

With the help of a dessert spoon, place the dough you have prepared piece by piece on the greaseproof paper on the baking tray, with an average of 2 cm intervals.

Bake in an oven preheated to 220 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
