Macir Böreğı With Leek

Materials

1 kg leeks

½ cup maize oil

1 dessert spoon salt

1 tsp. ground black pepper

150 g yogurt

150 g çökelek (dry cottage cheese)

DIRECTIONS

Chop the leeks no thicker than 0.5 cm. Sauté the leeks over a low heat in its own juices together with the salt, sugar, black pepper and oil, covering with a tight lid.

Allow the sautéed leeks to cool.

After cooling the sautéed leeks, add yogurt and dry cottage cheese.
