Materials
1 cup flour
2 cups semolina
1 tbsp. salt
4 cups boiling water
125 g butter
125 g clotted cream
DIRECTIONS
Soften the semolina in boiling water. After cooling, add the flour and salt and knead into a dough.
Shape into egg-sized balls. Roll out the dough to the size of a regular plate. After greasing with melted butter, fold in half and roll out the dough again. Grease the dough after rolling out to the same dimensions as a plate again, fold in half and repeat this process three more times.
After repeating this process for all the balls, stack them on top of each other on a small greased tray.
Bake in a preheated oven at 200oC/390oF until golden.
Serve hot with clotted cream.
