Rice Pilav With Tomato

Materials

1 cup of baldo rice

100 g butter

2 tomatoes – grated

1 teaspoon of sugar

1 teaspoon of salt

2 cups beef broth

DIRECTIONS

Put the butter in a rice pot and sauté the grated tomatoes with the sugar.

Wash the rice in cold water until the starch has been removed, strain, add to the pot and stir.

Add the hot broth.

Cook over a medium heat until the water has been absorbed.

Turn off the heat and allow to rest. After 5 minutes, remove the lid and stir the rice. Replace the lid, and allow to rest for another 5 minutes. Serve hot.
